I'm staying in the town of Bocas now, I got kind of annoyed riding the water taxi back and forth from Bastimentos. I also really really wanted a hot shower, which I hadn't had in three weeks.
When I left the hostal in Bastimentos, I saw three of these, which made me think that some form of "Survivor" was filmed here and this was one of the challenges.
